The Volunteering program is our longest running initiative, based on the premise that making a real difference is not only possible but vital. At ALPHA AND OMEGA FOUNDATION, Volunteering is a source of great pride for our Nonprofit Organization.

About ALPHA AND OMEGA FOUNDATION
Here at ALPHA AND OMEGA FOUNDATION, we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2000, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Nonprofit Organization upon: support, empowerment and progress.
Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. ALPHA AND OMEGA FOUNDATION emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words.
To enhance and improve the lives of economically disadvantaged residents of the greater Robbins community through education, advocacy and community services
What We Believe In
It is so easy to fall into a pattern of apathy as we go through our lives. Our organization was born out of a commitment to stop passing over the real issues of society, and deal with them head on. We have set out to aid those who need it most. ALPHA AND OMEGA FOUNDATION is here to help, and we believe that change is possible when we put our hearts and minds to it.
Media Center
As one facet of our Youth Development Program, ALPHA AND OMEGA FOUNDATION awarded nine $2,000.00 scholarships to applicants in 2025 that were attending various colleges and or universities. As of August 2026, we have awarded 15 $2,000.00 scholarships to deserving youth from Robbins, Illinois. Scholarships are awarded based on an applicant having a C or better grade-level average, family household income, letters of recommendation, proof of residency, a personal essay and proof of enrollment at a college or univercity.
From Idea to Reality: The Evolution of ALPHA AND OMEGA FOUNDATION
ALPHA AND OMEGA FOUNDATION presented additional curriculum to Principal Tarita Lowery of Bernice Childs Elementary School as part of our Youth Development Program. In addition to the curriculum, Principal Lowery also received an incentive of $1,000.00 for the school to participate in the program
